The FRÍO®
Insulin Wallets are available in a range of sizes and colours to suit
your individual needs. They are also invaluable for any other
medication that needs to be kept cool. Our clients with medical
conditions such as thalacaemia, glaucoma and cystic fibrosis have also
used these wallets to keep their medications cool and safe. Simply
soak the inner FRÍO®
pouch containing the crystals, in cold water as per the instructions.
Remove your insulin stored as per the manufacturers' instructions from
the fridge, place in the inner wallet, towel dry, then place in the
outer 'Cambrelle' cover. Your wallet will keep your medication cool
for a minimum or 45 hours, and can be used continually, simply by
re-soaking the inner pouch for a short period of time (3 - 4 minutes),
as the water evaporates. Your FRÍO®
wallet will work effectively for many years. Available in a range of
sizes (from single or epi-pen size to extra large - which will hold
sufficient supplies whilst travelling or on vacation) and colours to
suit your individual needs.
